Dr. Kali Lantrip, Ph.D.

Specializing in helping people heal after interpersonal violence, abuse, and relational trauma

move forward, fully

With life and relationships, vulnerability inevitably emerges, and unfortunately, it frequently brings along pain and a sense of betrayal. These encounters have the potential to shape our future relationships, both with ourselves and with others, unless they are dealt with in a compassionate and nurturing manner. Instances of hurt, and even traumatic experiences, can leave us feeling diminished, isolated, and burdened with secrecy or shame. My approach involves working closely with each client, fostering collaboration, and aiding them in unraveling previous patterns or painful experiences. Together, we seek to gain a deeper understanding of the obstacles that hinder their progress in life, enabling them to move forward with renewed clarity and purpose.

In my opinion there is one quality that stands head and shoulders above all others and it is this: The ability for us to open our hearts to the traumatized individuals sitting before us. . . . It's about the degree to which we can attune ourselves to that person sitting before us. It's about both being able to be in the moment to cultivate an authentic relationship, and yet have the discipline to honor the boundaries inherent in such a relationship.--Guy Macpherson, PhD | The Trauma Therapist Project
