Support groups possess an extraordinary capacity to validate and infuse compassion into those aspects of ourselves burdened by shame and darkness. Often the parts of ourselves that we hide away, are the parts of ourselves that need the support, love, and nurturing the most. As I facilitate these groups, my aim is to allow people to share these parts of themselves with others who can relate and also share themselves.
By fostering a nurturing environment within the group, I encourage individuals to embrace their true selves, embracing their wounds and acknowledging the complexities of their journey. Through this process, they find solace in the knowledge that they are not alone, and that their struggles are met with understanding and empathy from their fellow participants.
I am currently leading a support group for adults healing from relational pain, trauma and betrayal. This group meets on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm MST. The group is led on zoom, and is ongoing. Please contact me if your are intersted.
